About NHPB

Esperanza’s National Hispanic Prayer Breakfast & Conference (NHPB) advances faith-based advocacy, to strengthen Hispanic communities across the United States.

For 16 years, the NHPB has brought together thousands of national and international faith advocates – including clergy leaders, churches, nonprofits, academics, policy-makers, and others – to raise their voices, addressing immigration, housing access, unequal outcomes in education, and other pressing issues affecting our families, neighbors and communities.

The 2018 National Hispanic Prayer Breakfast is your opportunity to gather and meet fellow faith leaders, train in the art of advocacy, dialogue with elected officials about critical legislative issues affecting Hispanic communities, and pray over our country in our nation’s capital. Join us!

Press: The deadline for media RSVPs is Monday, June 11 at 7PM.

Our Impact

The impact of the National Hispanic Prayer Breakfast carries through the actions of hundreds of Hispanic clergy who have cultivated their advocacy skills at each NHPB over the years. Attendees participate in workshops and trainings that equip them to engage in real, face-to-face advocacy with Congressional leaders.

Every year, NHPB attendees from 35 states complete a total of 70-80 meetings with their own elected Senators and Representatives, advocating for issues that are critical to our Hispanic community.  These conversations shape the debates within our government, and influence the policies that are enacted for our country. After the NHPB, faith leaders use these advocacy skills to continue working for change in their home communities.

At the NHPB, we’re helping leaders like you become a generation of skilled advocates for our Hispanic community.  We train to advance the cause of justice, and we remain prepared to constructively engage the challenges we face, at any time and whatever the issue area.
